Stayed at site 41. There's a view of the lake from part of the site and a fire ring and grill on site. The rest is heavily treed. We tent camped and there were just a couple spots on the site to set up a six-person tent. The site was right off the hike/bike trail that leads straight to the bathrooms. The campground doesn't allow day use, so it was quiet in terms of other campers. If you wake up at night, the sound of the highway is pretty obvious, but that was only a small issue to us.

Site 41 was fairly level. Lots of trees. Beware there is only one dump hole at the dump station.

It would’ve been great except the park host near the bathroom accused me of not being allowed in the spot i was parked and I had to walk him to the vehicle and show him the permit. It was kinda scary because I was camping alone and he didn’t identify himself. Had I not just got out of the vehicle, he would’ve come and looked inside like a peeping Tom. Also although I love the wild life, feeding them really does them a disservice. This same park host fed them in the evening and morning gathering at least 20 deer and a few ducks.,not to mention the risk of deer ticks being a bigger threat due to the closeness and increased number of them in the area near the bathrooms. The park overall was beautiful. The man at the front office was very polite. The authoritative park host ruined the whole experience.

The place is beautiful with an incredible view, but the neighbors are not very friendly, it is not allowed to play music, something stupid for a picnic, the bathrooms are very dirty and neglected, I would think about two kisses to return.
