Beautiful campground with a pretty swimmable lake. Boat ramp on site. Small shaded trails that'll take you to different areas of the campground. Friendly hosts. Water and electricity worked fine. I chose spot 43 because I thought I would have a water view according to the pics posted with the site. However, this site is a bit strange. Your view is of bushes, and the fire ring along with the table are placed pretty far from where you set up. You do have easy access to the water it's just not your direct view. The shoreline had a lot of trash everywhere, I really wish people would pick up after themselves! The bathrooms are OK. Only 1 shower worked at the one near me. The toilets do not have seat covers, and if someone were to fly a drone near the bathhouse (although very pretty and open) you could probably watch people shower through the windows up top. The gates at this facility close at 10:00 p.m. and there's no way of getting back in if you are out after that. I was told that if I came back after 10, I'd have to leave my vehicle at the front gate and walk to my site. My site is about a mile from the front gate. Not really sure how I feel about this because I feel like there should be some sort of a code for guests that maybe want to go see a show while in town or do something that causes them to stay out a little later than 10 pm. First campground I've come across that doesn't have an access code to come in and out of. All around it's a nice campground.

Site 33 is one of my favorites. Large, waterfront, lots of shade, easy parking.

Arrived on Sunday. Monday we had to move due to flooding. We should have been notified Sunday or have our spot changed prior to us setting up.
That said, the rangers and staff were very nice and since the park closed on Tuesday, our refund was extremely fast.

Nice campground, sites are spacious, level and many are shaded. The bathhouses are clean. I’ve never seen better grass mowing in any of the COE campgrounds. They really keep it up and the place looks great.
