We love Hickory Creek! We were in site 19, it was a little rough getting our 41’ 5th wheel backed in as the site is on a slope, but it was doable. A newbie might have trouble, though. The site had a great view of the lake and good access to it as well.

I was preparing for a longer trip, so spent most of my time on the site. Connections were easy for water and electricity. My dog and I enjoyed walks along the water's edge.

As always, clean and spacious sites. Love the new picnic tables! 50 amp and water hookups worked well.
Dump station was functioning and trash receptacles we're not over full.
Camp hosts were friendly and helpful.

We love this park and visit as often as we can even though we live nearby. It’s a great local getaway for us and friends. The sites come in various lengths to accommodate different size campers from tents to 45’ diesel pushers all with electric, water and sewer. Even though the park is surrounded by civilization, whitetail deer and occasional turkey wander the park. The park is quiet even though I-35E is nearby and there are many sites backing up to Lake Lewisville. Park hosts are located in each loop or section for assistance. Lastly, the gate attendants have always been so friendly and helpful to us on all our visits.

Had a great site 121 which held our 44ft MH and our tow vehicle just fine.

Layout could have been better, it's a long drive to reach the camp site, but most importantly...what we liked most--it was VERY quiet!

We love COE properties. They are consistent from state to state (At least from wheat we have experienced). We had a back in site with ample room to park the 5th wheel and truck on the site. The bathrooms were very large and clean. The showers could use some hooks and warmer water but not bad at all. Some of the bathroom stalls did not have operational locks as some maintenance could be done there.
