If only there were sewer service it would be perfect. But even with that, we had a great time and will come back again.

This is a prime place to stay while in the north DFW area. Access is easy, staff is friendly and helpful, and the setting is tranquil. Sites are widely spaced, well equipped, and near the water. Recreational opportunities are plentiful. Nearby are all the shopping, restaurants and activities you might wish for.
Time your excursions to be back in the park before the gates close in the evening.

Nice campground. Dealing with computer to make reservations by phone was terrible.

When traveling North on I-35E, take exit 458A toward Swisher Rd/FM-2181 onto S stemmons Fwy. Continue onto N Stemmons Fwy toward Hundley Dr/Turbeville Rd. Turn right on to N Lake Dallas Dr towards Hundley Dr/Turbeville Rd. Turn sharp right onto W Hundley Dr towards Hickory Creek. Continue on Turbeville Rd, and turn left onto Point Vista Rd. After 0.5 miles, Hickory Creek Campground will be on the right.
When traveling South on I-35E, take exit 457 toward Lake Dallas Dr onto Stemmons Fwy. Then, take ramp towards Turbeville Rd/Hundley Dr/Hickory Creek. Turn left onto Turbeville Rd towards Hickory Creek. Turn left onto Point Vista Rd. After 0.5 miles, Hickory Creek Campground will be on the right.

STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood.
