This was a nice escape from the high traffic areas, and still be close.
Beautiful sunsets over the lake and clean facilities make it a good choice.

Really enjoyed the park. Nice, clean and quiet. We were in site 60 which is a pull-through site on the water. Saw Egrets and ducks on the water. Very spacious. The dump station is in the other loop and you have to go all the way through the loop to get back around to the dump. If there was sewer at each site, we would have stayed more than 4 days. If you need a laundromat, you must go to Jess's Laundry. It is not far at all and the attendant is super nice. They have an app and you can pay with your card so you don't have to carry a lot of cash or coins.

Excellent COE park. Clean, nice staff, great infrastructure. I stayed in site 19 - it has a definite slope down to the front, but I was able to get level. The site behind me is close, but plenty of room on the front side. This park is in the approach path to DFW, and there were a LOT of jets directly overhead...that's about the only downside to this campground. If you stay on the east side of the camp you will hear the IH35 traffic...the west side I sheltered. Each site has a fire ring and nice new charcoal grills/smokers. There's a very nice nature trail, maybe two miles long? Heads-up that the entry gate closes at 10p...that's a plus for me.

Excellent park. Good slots, level, lots of green space. Friendly park personnel. I have been to this park several times in the last year and it’s one of my favorite parks. Close to Dallas and all it offers. Walmart within 5 minutes, Home Depot 7 mins, Sam’s 10 mins. On Lake Lewisville. Huge lake.

Really great time there. Weather was good and one of the park hosts told us we could cut up one of the downed trees, so we got enough to have two night campfires. Park is always kept up and looking very nice. Wish it was closer to us because we would be there more often. John from Enid, Oklahoma
