What Guests Are Saying
Hanks Creek campground is well-kept and offers a peaceful atmosphere, with clean sites and decent facilities, making it a great spot for relaxation and outdoor activities. Many campers enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake and appreciated the friendly park hosts. However, some areas are in need of maintenance and updates, particularly the boat ramps and restroom facilities, which have been affected by recent flooding and storms.

Love spot #9! Camp host, Harry, was so helpful...we arrived in our RV but left our tow a 1/2 mike away with a flat. Harry helped us figure out what spots would be available for a few more days while we got our flat fixed.

Been camping for forty plus years, all over the country. This is by far the best campsite I've had in my life.plenty of shade, mature trees.Campsites were larger (further apart) than any I have seen and the lake was so close. With the locked front gate traffic was limited to campers only. Hey,even the toilet paper was soft.Kinda hate to recommend this campground to anyone because it may make it harder for me to reserve a site next time. I will definitely be back.
P.S. I thought Canadians were nice, Texans have them beat.
