What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek offers a beautiful, relaxing environment with friendly park hosts and ample space for family activities, making it a great spot for camping. Many guests appreciate the clean facilities and scenic views of the lake, along with enjoyable playgrounds for children. However, there are concerns about the maintenance of the campground, including uneven sites, overgrown grass, and the need for repairs, which detracts from the overall experience for some visitors.

The experience with the camp site and camp host was great. we had a really pretty site. The problem was mother nature; we had to load up and close shop we were in a tent and all our bedding got socked and the wind was harsh. But we plan on coming back!!

We only stayed a night here and as for the rain it was nice a quite. Sun set was awesome after the rain shower. We plan to come again and stay longer. We are on a mission to search out camp grounds.

Super relaxing campground. Very quiet. The views of the lake are great!
The water was about 10 feet below normal, which left a wide sandy beach for walking. The sites are all uneven and non-level, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. We didn't get our kayak out this time, but had a lot of fun riding our bikes around the campground and out on the road leading up to it.
Be sure and eat lunch at Texas Joe's bar-b-q. Weird looking place, but the best brisket we have ever tasted. I had the Tex-La sandwich...Brisket with Boudin on a bun. Fantastic!!! They are only open Thurs-Sundays.
We hope to come back to Mill Creek Park.

Great COE campground. The host were wonderful. Fish every afternoon and caught fish at Sam Rayburn Lake. Very big park. Lots of room. Sites are large. Some of the small RV sites, there is no way to level. A lot of the sites are on the water. Water level was way down.

The site we had was a nice quite one that was in the shade and no one was around. The only thing that would have made it better was to have full hook up.

We stopped for an overnight. Campground a typically well run COE campground. We’ll stop again.

If the sites shelter roof was angled down hill it maybe wouldn’t wash out the slab uphill other than that it’s a beautiful site in a nice park
