Mill Creek Park is praised for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere, making it an excellent spot for family getaways. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts and the park's pet-friendly environment, with many planning return visits. However, some sites are noted to be uneven and in need of repairs, which can pose challenges for larger campers.

Super relaxing campground. Very quiet. The views of the lake are great!
The water was about 10 feet below normal, which left a wide sandy beach for walking. The sites are all uneven and non-level, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. We didn't get our kayak out this time, but had a lot of fun riding our bikes around the campground and out on the road leading up to it.
Be sure and eat lunch at Texas Joe's bar-b-q. Weird looking place, but the best brisket we have ever tasted. I had the Tex-La sandwich...Brisket with Boudin on a bun. Fantastic!!! They are only open Thurs-Sundays.
We hope to come back to Mill Creek Park.

Great COE campground. The host were wonderful. Fish every afternoon and caught fish at Sam Rayburn Lake. Very big park. Lots of room. Sites are large. Some of the small RV sites, there is no way to level. A lot of the sites are on the water. Water level was way down.

The site we had was a nice quite one that was in the shade and no one was around. The only thing that would have made it better was to have full hook up.

We stopped for an overnight. Campground a typically well run COE campground. We’ll stop again.
