What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek offers a beautiful, relaxing environment with friendly park hosts and ample space for family activities, making it a great spot for camping. Many guests appreciate the clean facilities and scenic views of the lake, along with enjoyable playgrounds for children. However, there are concerns about the maintenance of the campground, including uneven sites, overgrown grass, and the need for repairs, which detracts from the overall experience for some visitors.

I love Mill Creek Park as 65 members of our family has went there for over 40 years. The concern I have is that my brother's campsite was double booked twice over recreation.gov. The program showed different campsites were available, we reserved them, but then campers were on the sites and had proof they had already reserved them. The volunteers at the gate had to get involved and was able to resolve the issue, but that should never happen with electronic reservations. Either the site is available or not, I just don't understand how this can happen. Signed: Concerned camper

We only stayed here a couple of nights coming through but it was a very nice clean park. It’s right on a very nice lake. Water and electric no sewer. We would stay here again.

Site was awesome and very spacious other than parking. I understand the "No Parking On The Grass" policy but it really makes it difficult to park your truck/boat trailer when you prefer not to leave at boat ramp. It's better now that the iron fencing has been removed but still need more space available for parking. Also in Section "E" the cell phone usage was terrible. Could barely get a signal. Other Core of Engineer parks in the area we have the ability to pick up some TV stations but no signal here.

We really enjoyed camping at Mill Creek! There are many shaded sites with full hook ups. Our site was not shaded due to deciding to go at the last minute but it was pleasant weather with a light breeze. Other campers were great neighbors- no one was excessively loud or up late. The play ground, shower and restroom facilities were still closed due to Covid so I can't rate those. The park was clean and well maintained.

Waterfront site was actually a swamp front with 30ft trees in the water, No view, logs everywhere in water..... But the other side of the park was nice, nice swimming area.
