What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

My experience was poor the elderly couple that was the park attendant was rude and your check out times 1:30 and they rush you to get out of there noon. On my last day there was a storm I had booked my last night but apparently I was charged for one day double I couldn't get resolved in the corps of engineering that was on duty for the weekend was very rude very arrogant and I took his body language and words as a threat because he was overly pushy and smart mouth very vulgar and very rude I will never spend another dime in a core engineer Park..

Were were in sites 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23. These sites are great and we were right at the dock which let the kids in the group fish. Park host and Rangers were all great. I won't lie we are a rowdy bunch when we all get together, but we respect quiet times and park rules which made our interactions with the host and Rangers a great experience. Sandy Creek as a whole is a terrific park and close to Martin Dies Park which is where our family grew up going to.
