What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Very nice campsites. Large and good view of the lake. Close to town to enjoy restaurants. Great weather while we were there most days. We had site 67 which is a pull through.

Last minute reservation, camp host called before we arrived to let us know that the campsite we reserved was underwater. He met us at the entrance and guided us to some pull thru sites that were available. Perfect place to stop. Would like to stay there again.

The perfect stop after a week of boondocking on a Texas beach. Having an excess of water and power was a treat. And the view of the lake, falling asleep to lapping water, all the doors openβjust beautiful.

quite an experience to go from the Chihuahua desert in west Texas to spend our last night in the state in a cypress swamp. Nice facilities.

Last minute reservation, great site next to the ramp. Great breeze off the water all day and all night. Quiet. Just what I wanted!

the asphalt at our site was buckling. A tripping hazard at best. Shower house / restrooms were terrible!
