What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Site was some what convoluted to back into with repairs needed on the pad.
Restroom and showers were a disgrace; toilets without toilet paper, not sure if they have ever been cleaned. Doors misfit on toilet and shower stalls with black mold present on the walls. I wouldnβt use them.

This is a beautiful campground that is very spread out. Campsites are very far apart, roads are in excellent condition. Most sites are level or very close. Price is wonderful. It was very windy when we first arrived, we had booked site 31 which is on a point in the lake and has no wind blocking trees. We moved to site 11 after a couple of days and It was wonderful. Huge open yard for our dog to play in and right on the water but the shore line is lined with trees so it blocked the wind. We plan on going back soon. Disadvantage: no sewer hookups and dump station is a long way from everywhere.

Be prepared for the dogs barking. Even the hosts have dogs barking ALL day. ALL DAY.
