What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

The sites are very nice and not crowded together. The host were helpful. It was nice to have a canopy over the picnic table. My only negative was the age and condition of the bathrooms and showers. Toliets were constantly plugged up and the fixtures were old and corroded, basically they need to be bulldozed and replaced.

PROs - Very nice and quite park. Friendly staff.
CONs - Mens & Womens restrooms were filthy. Toilets in both restrooms were backed up most of the time we were there. Staff unclogged toilets multiple times through the weekend only to have them back up again.

A very nice park with a nice trail to Martin Dies State Park. Site facilities are very good. The restroom was dirty and needs upgrading.

The site we had was very level. I did look at most of the sites and they were mostly shady and level. Large play ground for the kids.
Friends of ours showed us a great place to eat in woodville called Pickett House. They serve fried chicken and a lots of sides. Great home cooked meal. Open 11-2.
A great place to go. Next door was a museum too.
