What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Space 29. Wide open to the South for signal yet really beautiful huge pine trees to the sides. Water view amazing, mist covered in the mornings. While remote, this location is a surreal gem of natural beauty. Entry roads are bumpy but easily driveable. Staff is so welcoming.

Sandy Creek Park is a beautiful, well maintained park where the sites are spread out and are roomy. There are several pull-throughs that are fairly level and require little effort to set up camp. My Husky loves staying there!

Site 14 was about a 200’ pull-thru with water and electric. Tons of space between each site which gives plenty of privacy. You wouldn’t even think you were in Texas staying here. Sunsets on the lake were gorgeous!

We were in site 16 and it had a pretty major slope to it and we couldn’t get level.
