What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

We were told that u could not bring golf carts and there were several people who had them and were riding around the park

There is nobody at the guard shack and the gate has been removed so no need for the gate code. Our site was good. We would look further in, closer to the lake next time. The road in is a bit narrow but not too bad. We drive a big rig with tow. Jasper is about 10 miles and a nice little town. Also, if you like, try a cute little Cajun restaurant in Kirbyville about 30-45 minutes away.
