What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

My visit to the park was excellent in every way EXCEPT the dump station. I have a long bed truck and a 42' fifth wheel and it is nearly impossible to make it around the U-shaped area. In anticipation of it being challenging I spoke with two other campers that had 40' and 42' rigs. Both are repeat visitors and suggested to take it as wide as possible. I cleared the first turn no problem but the 2nd turn was the challenge. I was not the first one to have an issue, there was a 4x4 sign post that was knocked over, it was clear more room is needed where the dumpster is located in order to make that turn. I am booked now to be back for an even longer stay next time and hope this is resolved before summer.
I had to back up and shimmy several times to get the rig over far enough to miss the curb at the dump hole.
