Worst park visit I've ever had. While the area was nice and restroom fairly clean, the staff did not enforce the rules and did not answer calls. The whole area sounded and smelled like I was at a college party which went way past midnight. I got zero sleep due to the surrounding inconsiderate and drunk guests which all seemed to know eachother. I messaged recreation.gov which was worthless as was calling the number they provided.

Nice site, a bit close but fortunately no neighbors during our stay. Like most places now, glaring lights, from campers, if you’re afraid of the dark stay at a hotel, Hosts included.

Full hook up sites are very close together. Only 1 hiking trail. Bathroom could use new fixtures and lighting.

Unfortunately I was unaware of the construction that was taking place during my stay. Dump trucks started at 7am dumping rocks at the boat ramp while a bulldozer sorted them…..all day…until 5 pm. Even while I was out on the water on my Yak it was still loud and annoying. Also, some of the spaces here are very close together in this park…uncomfortably close. Thankfully there was nobody in the spots around me or I probably would have just left. Not sure why they would design it like that. You go camping to get away from people, not to be within arms distance of each other.
