Camps were clean and nicely kept. The hosts were for the most part very courteous and caring
But even after several attempts we could not get hot water in the rest rooms or showers. It would seem that with all the fuss about these viruses that hot water to keep clean and sanitary would be a priority.

Nice and quiet camping experience. The three bald eagles kept the skies entertained, especially when one caught a fish and the others chased him. The black squirrel was totally not afraid of us and visited us often. Being close to the lake was a plus, but the weather kept me from going out in my kayak. There was a lot of good spots to launch from, though. Will surely return here again.

Very nice, well maintained park. Park hosts were very friendly and helpful. Staying here another two weeks in January and probably many more.

Hicking trail could have been better marked. It is confusing close to the end ( or we thought it may have been the end close to the boat ramp). we had to follow blue ribbons through high grass to get back to the park road. Even with that we had a pleasant walk. But we had a very pleasant stay at the park. It was clean and had been mowed. We will visit the park again soon.

We stay at USACE locations several times a year. This was our first time at Twin Dikes. We loved it the most! It was a perfect spot, with a glorious lake view. The screened in shelter made the grand baby think she had her own play room. The dogs loved the camp spot and we will definitely book again as soon as we can carve out some time!
