Rented the day use pavilion and the electricity did not work. Other than that we had an excellent experience. Great view!

Brushy Creek is awesome. On my reserved date we were less than 48 hours after one of the worst storms in recent memory. The sweet lady that runs the guard shack was out there with a blower trying to clean everything up. It was a Herculean, very appreciated but very unexpected effort.

I’ve been coming here literally all my life, but this was my first time to use the pavilion. The pavilion was clean and had power available, it was easy to reserve, and easy to access. My group of nearly 40 people had a great day.

From Jefferson, Texas, travel 3.8 miles northwest on Highway 49. Turn left onto FM 729 and continue for 3.5 miles, then turn left again onto FM 726. Travel 5.0 miles turn right at the stop sign and follow signs to the park entrance.
Access to Brushy Creek Day Use is via Highway 49, which is approximately 3.8 miles from Jefferson, Texas. FM 729 and FM 726 also provide access to the campground from Highway 49.
