Brushy Creek

Site 308 sits right on the lake with a gorgeous view to the north. The weather is outstanding, with a nice breeze coming off the water. The bathrooms are adequate, though my shower this morning was just cool water.

WOW! Great visit with grandkids. Fishing, swimming, enjoying nature. Playground needs updating. Campsites were level and spacious. Will return!

Beautiful campground, and the camp host are excellent.

We love Brushy Creek but we feel some improvements need to be made.

We love coming to Brushy. We like the attention given by the volunteers and enjoy talking to them. We stay at Brushy once a month, starting in May. We will continue to stay at Brushy because we have favorite spots there.

Great place to stay. Workers are friendly and helpful.

The lake was great and the swimming area clean and the grandkids loved it.
The camping sites were also clean and the areas were well mowed. The bathrooms were older, had no soap the first day and one bathroom didn’t have anyway to dry your hands. But they were clean.

The main issue at each campsite we saw were small ants everywhere. They even got inside our trailer. We could barely sit outside without getting bit.
The dry conditions probably has something to do with the abundance of ants.
We enjoyed our stay.

We were in e312. It is a 50amp but line 2 keeper throwing a low voltage code so we switched to a doggbone and used the 30amp. It seemed stable. Pretty much full sun. Level concrete pad. Site has some distance from the both side sites. Not really easy to get to lake from site.

Lots of shade but couldn’t tell where the road vs sites were because of the pine needles everywhere covering the roads and pads..would suggest someone blow down the roads when it it gets this heavy..otherwise a nice park.
