Had a great time at Brushy Creek.
Close to Jefferson, we spent much of our time enjoying the shops and attractions.

We always stay in E110 just because it it a double spot which makes it bigger and this time it also worked out because we took our jet skis and it is right there on the boat ramp. It was amazing and not a lot of people on the water. We love Brushy Creek it is always so clean and just beautiful.

I was tent camping. Very nice park, clean/warm restrooms and showers, great views of the lake. Good fishing for bream at the dam. Close to conveniences. Jefferson is close for antiques and great cornbread sandwich. Wonderful small town to visit for unique shopping. Had a great time. Plan to return.

We have a new Casita RV. We have tried many state parks and only Ratcliffe in Davy Crockett national Forest. We liked our first visit so much, that we went back two weeks later on our next outing. We tried a different spot. It was just as beautiful. There are no trails, but walking the park on the roads is beautiful.

Stayed Nov 18 thru 21.
The place was empty. Beautiful tall pines on Lake of the Pines near Jefferson, TX.
Site was on the water. Japanese lady bugs were everywhere. We are still vacuuming them up.
Will stay again.

Brushy Creek is a beautiful park. Campers there while I was camping were quiet and friendly. My site was exactly as represented. For the first time camping alone after my husband recently passed away I couldn't have had a more pleasant experience.
