We always enjoy our trips to Brushy Creek. Our only complaint is they close December 1 and don't open back up until March 1. We don't like to camp at Buckhorn Creek or Johnson Creek so we have to go to non-Corp campgrounds if we want to camp during this time. The camp hosts and staff are always friendly at Brushy Creek. Restrooms could be cleaned better but they are much cleaner than Buckhorn, Alley, or Johnson. Also better than any other COE campgrounds we have visited.

We loved this park. It is probably one our favorite Army Corp parks that we have been too within reach of DFW for a weekend. Many birds, park is fairly quiet, lots of pine trees. We stayed in E103 which was a pull through, but was a little tight getting in and out of with our 35 ft 5th wheel, but we managed. We will definitely be coming back here for a longer stay later.

Beautiful place, lots of shade. Very clean park and shower house. Nice swim area with a sandy bottom. This park will be added to one of our favorites to visit
