This has to be the best of all camp grounds at The Pines. Love it here!

The grounds are kept up beautifully, it's a shame the whole park is not complete it makes it feel like a construction zone. The one thing I will say is we were there for a week and only saw the sheriff drive through once and never saw a ranger. Your volunteers were great and informative. And we saw you are already trying to improve on the beach area. One suggestion is to put signs in that area about not parking on the beach itself maybe have a designated beach parking area.

Nice shady camping spot (E-203) close to the bathhouse. Ants are a problem, so you need to carry plenty of pet-friendly insecticide powder

great park, clean and quiet. If looking for place to camp, I recommend. If looking for other activities to do around there, there didn't seem to be much that was very close.

Booked two nights so I could get there early to stay one night. Park doesn’t open until 10:00 so arriving before that is problematic but luckily the park host was outside and gave us the entry code for the gate
