Bathrooms are not cleaned properly daily. We watched one employee only empty trash from Sunday through Wednesday, another employee playing loud music from her truck. Also one of the park host very rude!

We had a relaxing time at Brushy Creek. Our site was fairly level. We had a partial view of the lake big enough to watch the boats. Even though it rained off and on We had our pop up canopy to sit under. We always enjoy going to Brushy Creek.

Beautiful well kept grounds. Friendly staff. Nice spacing on campsites, and conditions, relatively level, drained, paved, good infrastructure. Shower house clean and well maintained. Saw no debri about the grounds, despite following a nearly sold out weekend.

Getting There
From Jefferson, TX, travel 3.8 mi northwest on Highway 49. Turn left onto FM 729 and continue for approximately 3.5 mi, then turn left again onto FM 726. Travel 5 mi, turn right at the stop sign and follow signs to the park entrance.
Highway access
Brushy Creek is accessible via Highway 49, which is approximately 3.8 miles from Jefferson, TX. Additionally, FM 729 and FM 726 provide further access to the campground.
