It was very peaceful until random people that probably didn’t have a reservation show up at midnight were yelling and talking very loud and cursing til 3am, then left the place early morning.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Well maintained and clean. We stayed in site 122 but all sites are nice and plenty of free space between sites. All have a waterview. Close to town but without the noise. Love it.

Excellent camping trip to Brushy Creek at Lake O’ Pines. Was camping at site E219. Large site, easy to back into. Close access to the lake. Had 4 grand girls with us and they all had a blast. We love Brushy Creek and will return every year.

This site is facing a little cove. If you need to dock a boat or put in a kayak, this is a great site. You will have privacy because 98% of campers are behind you.

Getting There
From Jefferson, TX, travel 3.8 mi northwest on Highway 49. Turn left onto FM 729 and continue for approximately 3.5 mi, then turn left again onto FM 726. Travel 5 mi, turn right at the stop sign and follow signs to the park entrance.
Highway access
Brushy Creek is accessible via Highway 49, which is approximately 3.8 miles from Jefferson, TX. Additionally, FM 729 and FM 726 provide further access to the campground.
