Very clean. Ground keeper were on top of everything. Storm came through and they kept the roads clear, camp sites clean, and check on campers. Gate workers (hosts) were very friendly.

My wife and I spent 10 nights at Brushy Creek campground RV area 3. What a great campground!! Very clean and well spaced cement pads. Volunteers and front gate staff are very friendly. The nearby town of Jefferson is a must see with Victorian home and unique shops. We will definitely be back!!

Only issue we had was the erosion on the turning point as we reversed into the spot. The road was probably 15’ wide at one time but now its 12’ so getting the RV at 43’ was very challenging

Brushy Creek is by far one of the best places to camp for the weekend! The park and facilities are always neat and clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I just wish that they didn't shut down for the winter!

The staff was very pleasant but there clearly were not enough on duty to handle a weekend before a big holiday.
The campers around me just could not obey pretty much any of the rules - dogs off leash, dogs barking non stop day and night, dogs on 30' lines tied to trees and unattended, parking in non parking spaces, parking obstructing the road for more than 2 days, speeding, driving on the beach, and so on. It was a nightmare and staff took no action. All of it was occurring while they were in the area but no action was taken.

We love Brushy Creek! This was our first time camping on site E318 but were familiar with the site. It is fairly level and easy to get into and close to the playground and shower facilities. There is no shade on this site so I would not reserve this site in the Texas summers but great for the rest of the year. Staff is friendly and campground is well maintained.
