Brushy Creek

Great park and ultra friendly hosts. We have been here a number of times and visit a local town (Jefferson) all the time. The park is always neat and clean. The facilities we use are generally well maintained. The only complaint we have is that we have encountered what appears to be 'full timers' that are allowed to 'live' in the park and seem to have a lot of 'junk' there by degrading the atmosphere of the park. Don't really have any resolution for this problem as we have seen it in many versions at many parks. We will undoubtedly return as this is a nice respite along our travels. Unfortunately, I'm sure we'll continue to encounter this behavior also as I'm sure the rules are being followed, maybe just bent.

We absolutely love tent camping at Brushy Creek. Campsites are amazing. Showers & Restrooms are clean. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
We love fishing here! It’s absolutely great, even from the bank. This lake is very healthy and full of life.
We are definitely committing to coming back every year.
For best experience with not many people around reserve your spot during the work week, but either way I still give Brushy Creek 5 stars.

Stayed in a double-site, E110. Arrived on Sunday and out on Thursday. Couldn't believe how quiet this campground was, easily less than half full. The site had a good northern view of the sky for Starlink. There's a small convenience store across from the park entrance that sells bait and has a propane refill station.

we always enjoy our stay. The water was really high this time so we couldn't fish from the bank. still an enjoyable stay.

This is the best maintained COE’s campground I’ve stayed at. The staff is visible every day with blowers cleaning unoccupied sites and roadways. The RV sites are concrete and very level with clean, aluminum picnic tables and sunken fire pits. They are close, but arranged to provide good separation privacy. The bathhouse near me had 4 unisex bathrooms, each with a toilet and separate shower. These were the first bathrooms I’ve come across that were actually clean and maintained. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and smiling. Highly recommend this place.
