Wonderful view of the lake and perfect place for our boat. Afternoon shade made it great!

We arrived on Monday and stayed until Friday. We were suppose to be there until Monday. When everyone started arriving on Friday we started having low voltage and Rv wouldn’t stay running. Loved the spot until then. We packed everything up and went to Buckhorn

Probably the cleanest public campground I’ve ever been to.

We love Brushy Creek. However, this year we had so many power outages, that we are not sure we will be back next year. We stayed in rv section 2 and and the power went out nearly every day several days straight. We heard from many people that it is a power management issue in that section and it needs to be fixed!

Campers a few sites over played extremely loud music all three nights they were there. I’m talking booming base that could be heard across the campground. Complained to the camp office. They were asked to turn the music down but then would turn it right back up again.

I must say, I really enjoyed this experience. The people were friendly, & the tent pad had ample space for a 15x15 tent.
This spot T117 was actually a great spot, and though there is shade, it’s not a fully shaded area. At sunrise, the sun beams directly over the space. However, at about 2 ish, the sun changes direction, & you get a perfect breeze!!
We got dive bombed a few times by bees & a few hornets, fighting for the space, but hey, we were in the middle of the woods.
Other than that - view of the lake, and perfect location . The restrooms were clean, & well maintained, even for an older facility. My daughter & I will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay. Site was clean. However, the section we were in has not been updated and the holiday crowd took a toll on the power as it kept blinking. The playground also desperately needs to be updated. These issues are no fault of the campground, but seems to be funding problems.
