What a beautiful park! The park was well maintained and has a great view of the lake. The only negative is an Airboat came in across the cove one evening and fished for Gar from 11:00pm to 1:00am. It had about 50 bright headlights and they would rev the engine up and down continuously. It was VERY loud and disrespectful! Of course this was no fault of the park management, this was just an irresponsible person with an Airboat. He was not staying at Brushy Creek; I searched for him the next day and couldn't find his boat anywhere around the lake. Back to the park: This is one of the nicest parks we've stayed at and we have already made reservations for a return visit!

Site E-101 had a generous amount of space around it and a beautiful unobstructed view of the lake. Friendly and welcoming gate host greeted us. This is a large campground with both RV sites and dedicated tent sites. Some of the sites seemed a little close together so check the map when reserving if extra space is important to you. Slight hills and tall pine trees made for beautiful morning and evening walks.

Gate attendant exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Fire ants an issue around the camp.

Stayed at campsite E110 which was spacious and right on the lake. We opened our door to a beautiful view every morning! Plenty of trees to provide shade. A quiet and just overall great place. Will definitely return if I am in that area again.

One of the most beautiful parks I’ve stayed in. Showers were nice and convenient and the park staff were wonderful people.
