Brushy Creek campground on Lake of the Pines is our favorite place to spend a few days away. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful, it’s our happy place. The sites are nice with level pads, fire ring, picnic table on a concrete pad, electric, and water, but no sewer. Don’t forget to bring your portable tank if you plan on staying a while. They have 2 dump stations that have been upgraded recently. There is a nice boat ramp, plenty of shoreline to fish from. The crew that takes care of the campground are wonderful. Highly recommended Brushy Creek.

More people should know about this place. Beautiful lake and nice campground, and the price was right. Our group couldn't believe that there weren't more people enjoying this place.

Brushy Creek is one of our favorite close-to-home getaways. This time, we stayed in E108, which is hard to get. It's a pull-through right at lakefront. The sites are very roomy here, so you don't feel like you're eating breakfast next to your neighbor's sewer hose (no sewer hook-ups here, but you get my point). There's a great beach/swim area close by. We're looking forward to our next trip to Brushy!

Everything was really really great except for one thing - there were only 2 bathrooms available for several sections of the campground. That was pretty awful.

We always enjoy our trips to Brushy Creek. We were in RV area 1. We were excited to see RV Area 3 open for reservations. The new Longer Concrete Pads were very nice.
The only 2 things that could make our time at Brushy Creek better would be:
1. Open all year round.
2. Full hookup sites.
