Quiet and well shaded campground. The park staff were very friendly. The park was clean and maintained. The bathhouse could use some work though.

We LOVE this campground! Our ONLY complaint for this visit is that the power went out on June 14 after a huge storm and wasn't restored again until late afternoon of June 21. We also had another short-term outage a day or two later. While we were able to run our generators for our a/c and fans so we still enjoyed our stay, it would be nice to receive a partial refund due to the fact that we were without power for over a week.
But again, WE LOVE THIS CAMPGROUND and are sad for the trees lost in this storm. We will be back many more times in the future.

We had such a great time at Brushy Creek. This was our first visit but won’t be our last. The campground is so clean as well as the bathroom/shower facilities. We didn’t hike the trails, but we did plenty of walking on the asphalt roads! Jefferson is nearby so that offers a great place to eat and shop. Right outside the campground entrance is a store/restaurant called Brushy Landing. It has all the fishing equipment you would ever need. We ate at the attached restaurant, and it was so good!

We are not party people so this was not a good area to stay for us! We have stayed in another section before and it was a great experience Was disappointing that people parked anywhere (boats, trailers, jet skis, trucks ATVs).

I only spent one night here this trip. The pull-through site was quite level and had power and water. The dump station I used when I left was well laid out. The on-line registration was simple and the fee was great with my National Park pass. Probably the thing that impressed me the most was the park host. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she was very kind and went out of her way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. This was my second time at this park but it won’t be my last.
