We loved our stay at Brushy Creek. The park is very well maintained. The staff are kind and welcoming. We were at site E318 which was level and clean. Great signage as well which is helpful in a large park such as this. We hope to visit again soon.

The overall facilities were good. Some of the campsites were a little close together. We had one that was not close to another campsite. Not much shade on the site we had but the majority of the campsites had plenty. Some had none whatsoever. The main drawback was the bathroom facilities. The one closest to us had the toilet out of order the entire time we were there so we had to drive to another bathroom. The park employees kept the park in great condition and someone was checking on the campground constantly

This was our fifth trip to Brushy Creek and we love the campground. I have noticed that the park maintenance has not met the standard of previous years. Bathrooms could use a little sprucing up, shower drains are a slow, the mowing schedule seems to be almost nonexistent. Multiple brush piles are evident all over the campground. The second dump station isn't able to be used because of no water. I'm sure most of this is explained by budget cuts and that's sad. I've always thought of Brushy Creek as a crown jewel, and I hate to see it begin to fade.
