Friendly people at the front office and, as always, a nice time in our spot. The predicted heatwave was displaced by several rainy days that included lightning. We enjoyed heading into Longview for some shopping and TexMex on the worst of the days.

Campground very clean and well taken care of. Hosts always checking in. Deer everyday never the hosts area.

Love this place. I have been camping here for over 30 years and have always had a great time. Campgrounds are always clean and well maintained. The attendants are always very polite.

Great sites on the waterfront or woods. Boat to some sites. Lots of wildlife.

From Jefferson, TX, travel 3.8 miles northwest on Highway 49. Turn left onto FM 729 and continue for approximately 3.5 miles, then turn left again onto FM 726. Travel 5.0 miles, turn right at the stop sign and follow signs to the park entrance.
Brushy Creek is accessible via Highway 49, which is approximately 3.8 miles from Jefferson, TX. Additionally, FM 729 and FM 726 provide further access to the campground.
