We always enjoy our stay at Brushy Creek. However, this year it seems the maintenance is a little lax. The area around the campsites is really in need of mowing as the weeds are high. We were there for almost two weeks and never saw or heard a mower. Other than that, everything was good. Staff is really nice and we love the open spaces of the sites. We will go back within the next year.

Our campsite was a pull thru with 50 amp service and water. We were right on the water so temps were nice in the mornings and evenings. Sites were well spaced and clean. Restrooms were clean and usable. Would definitely come back to this park!

The site was great but the grass hasn’t been cut other than that it was great

The park was clean. The site was fairly level, no leveling blocks required. Staff was very friendly. I couldn't give it 5 stars because the area we were in needed mowing. I was a little concerned walking through ithe grass because of this.

My site says full shade in line and it was not. No window sticker posted for me to get at check in. Grass was not mowed very tall had to walk in knee high grass to get to the water.

We have camped there several times but this time, the lot we were on had absolutely no shade. I was very disappointed with the lot.

This was our fourth visit to Brushy, so yes we do like this park very well. We were in site 314, which was level, had great privacy. a beautiful view of the lake, AND it also had ants! I guess we could have guessed when we noticed a perimeter of Sevin on the pad. They were busy overnight, so we had to pull up our bedding and then head over to acquire some Sevin. To their credit, the park was spraying for weeds and bugs, so they did so around our pad (along with the whole section) while we "de-bugged" inside.
After all that we were able to enjoy the sunset, a campfire, and a more restful night.

As always the park is set on a beautiful location. However, the corp of engineers do not do a great job of upkeep. The grass was knee high and there were projects not completed during the winter months when the park was closed. This has been ongoing issue for years at this park.
