Visit the town of Jefferson nearby for a lot of interesting history and some good local dining.
We really liked the Enoch Stomp Winery as well

Not as clean as it has been in the past. Grass was way too tall.

This is a great park. The lake and the pines are both beautiful. Spots 106 and 107 are the best spots; 106 if you have kiddos or otherwise want to be right by the swim area and 107 if you want a little more privacy and more shade. The park is a little small, so not a lot of bike riding etc., but the lake is really the star of this park. Bring wasp spray.

We enjoyed staying at site 119. The view of the water was wonderful. The area was clean and well kept. The shower areas were clean. The office staff were kind.

I get the same spot every time I go to brushy creek! It’s always a wonderful time. Clean park, friendly staff, clean bathroom and showers. It’s always the best experience you could ask for!

The check in process was fast and the lady was professional and welcoming. The campground is clean and the bathrooms are clean. I felt safe while I was here. The power worked great at our tent site and we had a beautiful view of the lake. It’s nice that a convenience and fishing supply store is across the street from the entrance. We saw a lot of deer and a frog, which my son enjoyed. The swimming space is a good depth. The shower felt nice. It was quiet at night.

We love Brushy Creek. Large, clean RV sites. Always can find a place to camp. Kid friendly, with safe hard surface roads to ride bikes and close playgrounds to go to. Bathrooms and showers were clean and close to the camp site. Not a lot of boaters on the water through the week but did get busier on the weekends. All in all we had a great time.
