Buckhorn is a good campground but they need to spend some money to get it on par with Brushy Creek.

First off the signage for finding some sites is the worst I have seen at a COE. Bath house was old and needs updating. Grounds were well kept. Pretty quiet in early Nov during the week.

Staff was friendly. Sites were clean, big and all appeared level. Not limited to Buckhorn all COE campground could use better signage to grounds. Right on top of turn when sign appears for park. Didn't use showers or restrooms so can't comment on them.

We have been guest at Buck Horn Creek when traveling through the area for over 6 years. I have noticed a great improvement in the bathroom and shower facilities. There is still room for improvement but has come a long way since the buzzards roosted on the roof. Everything else is great the host are nice and have never had any issues with other campers. We appreciate the ones who keep COE parks available to us.
Thanks, Carrol and Pam

Very good welcoming at main gate as we came in with the travel trailer. All paperwork was already done. Beautiful weather and everything worked as advertised. Two year old granddaughter loved the swing and play area. Neighbors nearby were very friendly and nice. Definitely, one of the better camping trips we’ve had locally. We shall return! 👍
