Would be a nice campground if it were better maintained. The cement pads are nice. 50 PSI water pressure. Grass mowed. Nice park and clean lake. We are full-time RVers who would love staying 14 days if you had Full hook-ups, or cleaner Bath and Dump facilities. Our nearby Bath reeked of urine from a stream of waste leaking from the urinal. Dump Station had huge Pothole to drive thru, rinse Hoses were trashed, and overgrown bush to scratch your RV.

The only reason I gave this review 4 stars instead of 5 is because the grass was a bit high. I would have excused it but there had not been any rain in at least a week. Other than that, it was an awesome campground and we will indeed be back.

Nice campgrounds, pad sites level and clean. Bathhouses could use some updates.

I was in site E113 and it is a bit tight for a 40' bus. The entry door was very close to crosstie retaining wall for site. I could see an issue with anything larger than 40' with a front entry door. Overall park condition was better than most state parks.

Just an overnight stop for us but it was one the way. Had to have a reservation which we made while we were parked at the ranger gate shack because they no longer take cash in the park. Reasonable water and electric site with nice view. We enjoyed all the antique stores in Jefferson.

Had the site 139... the wooden deck needs repairs badly... the grass was not mowed... high weeds all around the site... I've never seen it like this before... overall it was a good week for us... got to get out of house! LOL... p.s... if you eat at brushy landing the breakfast is great... but the chicken fried steak didn't fare well with us.
