Bath room were in deplorable condition and the park needed mowing. We love this park but sorry it is in this condition.

Buckhorn Creek has no swimming areas for kids. The restroom closest to us, was out of order the entire time. Not everyone has an RV to camp.

Enjoyed the stay but the particular spot we were in 37, was hard as h___ to back into because of hillside full of rocks in front of us that the truck had to go over in order to get the trailer turned at the right angle to back in. Other than that, it was a nice spot.

I know it has rained a lot but there has been 2-3 weeks with no rain. The grounds needed to be mowed desperately. Our campsite was a smaller area and more rocky and hilly, so the tall grass wasn’t as bad as a lot of other campsites. The park is nice and we would return to this area. Jefferson is about 15 minutes away and we’ll worth the trip.

Buckhorn is always our go to local campground. The grounds are well maintained. This campground stays busy so you have to plan ahead.
