The guy at the gate was VERY VERY rude when we went to look at the spots for our upcoming trip. He told us we could just back on up and get outta there. Once we set up, the spots were so uneven that blocks wouldn't even level our campers.

Great area and beautiful grounds. Friendly people. Couple swimming beaches on other parts of the lake that are free with camping. Not to far away. Fishing wasn’t too bad either. Our restroom was just it of order and playground was being redone or it would have gotten 5 stars.

Clean facilities, bathrooms need renovated, no light at boat ramp that works, and poor parking for boaters. Enjoyed camp sites.

I thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness and the sites environment and scenery was very pleasing. I was doubtful because of no electric so we brought a generator but honestly we didn't want to use it because of the noise and we really didn't need it. Weather was beautiful!!

Overall Buckhorn Creek was a very good experience. The bathrooms had ants and large spiders in them. Other than that it was ok.
