USA RV Resorts - Kemah

We enjoyed our stay. The facilities were clean and well appointed. The office staff was friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed being so close to the boardwalk. We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful RV resort in Kemah. Deanna at the front desk is so nice and the manager Sheri was super helpful when making our reservation. They have super clean bathrooms, and some fun swingsets for my grands who came to visit. One guy, John who is a worker there helped us out with taking our trash. We will be back for sure.

If I could rate this place zero stars, I would.

During our first stay, we encountered multiple serious issues: there was no hot water because the heater boiler was not turned on, there was active water leaking from the sink due to faulty pipes, and the Wi-Fi was not set up on the TV, which we had to configure ourselves. We reported these problems to the host. Their explanation was that the unit was “brand new” and that we were the first guests, which is not a reasonable excuse given that they manage 20+ similar units on the property.

The host offered us a second stay to “make up for” the experience, and we agreed in good faith. Unfortunately, this second stay only confirmed that the issues were not resolved and that this property is not worth booking.

During our return stay, my boyfriend took a 10-minute shower, and immediately afterward there was no hot water available at all. The host stated that the water heaters are “small and only last about 10–15 minutes.” This is a significant limitation that was never disclosed in the listing or prior to our stay. A rental that cannot provide hot water for two consecutive showers does not meet basic expectations, especially in cold weather.

Overall, this property appears unprepared for guests and lacks transparency about its limitations. Please take this review into consideration before booking.

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 wedding anniversary, in one of their cabins. Let me say this... what a wonderful stay this was! The cabin could not have been any better! We stayed in cabin 48, which is a new one, and it was over the top! Super comfy bed, kitchen with full sized appliances, so we could actually cook, a large walk in shower, washer and dryer, on site fishing, pools, and across from Okies! The manager, Sheri was so kind, helped us find the BEST spit for dinner and went above and beyond. We will def be staying here again! Thank you Sheri and Marina Bay RV, we will be back soon! This rv park is catered more to long term rentals. Especially the cabins. Most of them have people living in them, so by the time you rent it out all the furniture is old and worn out. The beds caved into the middle. The couch was so dingy. The tv didn’t work so we emailed management (Sheri) she said she would have someone come out the next day to fix the tv. No one ever showed up. We emailed again- no response. Tv never got fixed.
Won’t be staying here again. For the price we paid- we could have rent an air bnb but we had friends staying there so that’s where we decided to stay.

Edit to response: There wasn’t even a Roku hooked up to the tv to begin with. The furniture is dingy and worn out. I did sleep on it. The mattress are springs and sink in towards the middle. And not one time in the email was it said that we needed to be present to fix the tv.
No one was in office when we found out the tv didn’t work. Which is why we sent the email. We didn’t expect someone to come out right then or much less respond right then but we did expect for the issue to be fixed the next day, and communication to be provided if we needed to be there. We were out celebrating a birthday. I didn’t know we needed to stay around for you to fix a problem that was there before we checked in. Also, I didn’t try to stop by on the way out to properly address the issue but again, no one was there.. you had my number you could have called if I needed to be there when maintenance showed up. Cabin 142 had the dingy couches and slopped in beds.
