Lost Horizon

My husband, dogs, and I stayed in The Hideout and it was the perfect cozy space with everything we needed. Communication was top notch and river access for fishing was a definite perk. We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay as well.

A wonderful tiny cabin in the woods away from it all! Beautiful view from the bed with glass doors that open to enjoy the sounds of nature. Sit on the porch with a morning coffee or a cold beer fireside at dusk, comfortable chairs for both. We especially liked the small details the host provides of things you're likely to accidentally forget such as foil or salt and pepper! We even found metal roasters for weenies/marshmallows! All in all a very cozy place, very worth the price! We will definitely book here again!

I stayed at The Hideout and it was just what my soul needed. The peace and tranquility at this property was so healing. The soaking tub was so luxurious. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and tended to requests promptly. I have no doubt that I will be a repeat visitor here.Be sure to throughly read the instructions given by the hosts! This place is way off the beaten path and is easy to get turned around. I was able to drive right up to the home in a small car so you just need some patience and confident driving to make it!

Had a wonderful time at Lost Horizon with my boyfriend to just escape for a night, right before the holidays. The scenery was beautiful and the cabin was awesome. Jeremy ensured to give details on how to navigate our way down to our cabin due to google and Apple Maps getting confused and responded promptly to any question I had. There is also a guidebook they send to you once you book the airbnb that gives you everything you need to know from restaurants near you, gates to enter and exit as well as trails to walk on. So many beautiful animals roaming around and it’s just great to be that close to nature and away from the city and noise. Highly recommend this place to get away.
