Ratliff Lake Recreation Area is a very beautiful location. My only complaint about my visit was the conducted “controlled burn,” that took place while my husband and I were camping there for 12 nights. We were forced to stay indoors for most days and evenings because of the smoke. The trails were closed and it did hinder our overall experience at the park.

We stayed at Dogwood Loop 018.
It is a beautiful place and I would definitely return.
A number of our neighbors did not adhere to quiet hours. The handle on our water faucet was broken.
Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

It was not crowded at all. That was surprising during Spring Break. Only one of the shower/restrooms out of 4 had working lights. They could use more cleaning.

We go as much as we can, we call it our home away from home. Very clean shower and restroom ,very quite and clean all over. We enjoy it all seasons around.
