The park was beautiful and overall peaceful however when it can to the bathrooms.. worst experience of my life. No lights after dark, never clean, toilets were never flushed, and at one point there was blood everywhere literally I mean it was on the floors, walls, toilet paper, toilet. The men’s room was fine my father and husband said it was pretty clean. But the women’s.. the people who actually have to sit down.. it was horrible. Other than that, everything else was amazing the grounds were liter free and everyone listened to quite hours.

The park facilities were great. The only issue is it’s still under construction and there was no boat ramp, but I would recommend camping there. Also the river was amazing tfor kayaking!

Nice campground with friendly host. The boat ramp is closed and maybe closed for some time due to the new bridge and removal of the old bridge across the river. Hopefully the construction will be completed soon. This has been going on for a couple of years.

The campground was great with easy access and beautiful sites. The downside was that construction crews were working on the road over the river. Close to the State dinosaur site. I would definitely come again and recommend the COE

Be sure and bring plenty of water cook with or drink the water coming out of faucet seems very cloudy and almost soapy like good for cleaning dishes and bathroom but that’s it. The view over the river is amazing and park keeper is awesome and lots of friendly occupants we always meet incredible people.
