We stayed at Rio Bonito RV Resort from December 23ā30, 2025, and had a fantastic experience. We were really impressed with the modern amenities throughout the resort. The gated entrance made us feel extra secure, which we truly appreciated while traveling with our family.
The park itself is very quiet and peaceful, with many full-time campers, which created a relaxed, respectful atmosphere. The bathrooms were clean, private, and well-maintained, making the resort very family-friendly. For longer stays, the on-site mail service is a huge plus, and we also appreciated having an on-site propane station for added convenience.
The dog park was a big highlight for us, and the heated pool and hot tub were amazingāespecially during the cooler winter days. Thereās also a playground for kids and two communal fire pits that create a great space to relax and connect with others in the evenings.
Another great perk is the locationāitās a quick 20-minute drive to Georgetown, TX, making it easy to explore nearby shops, dining, and attractions while still enjoying a calm, restful stay.
Overall, Rio Bonito RV Resort is a clean, welcoming, and well-thought-out destination. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it to other RVers looking for a quiet, secure, and comfortable place to stay.

We may have done ourselves a disservice by starting our life on the road at Rio Bonito. š They have set a very high bar for RV parks. The bathhouses and facilities are top notch and the office staff was extremely gracious to work with.
We spent about 3 months here and enjoyed it very much. Close enough to town, but very quiet and comfortable.

I booked 7 nights at Rio Bonito II Resort & RV Park in Liberty Hill, TX. There are 2 Rio Bonito parks here with Rio Bonito II being the nicest in my opinion. The sites are all concrete with attractive landscaping between each site and throughout the resort. The resort is gated and seems very secure. The internal roads are wide and easy to navigate. There is a nice laundry facility, a huge dog park, and a small pool with a hot tub. The guest I met were all very friendly and mostly monthly or seasonal. The park is 5 miles or less from a wealth of restaurants and shopping with the largest H. E. B. Grocery store Iāve ever visited. Located only 34 miles north of downtown Austin, I will certainly return to Rio Bonito again and grab a site on the monthly rate. Highly Recommended!

I lived at Rio Bonito for about 3 years and loved it there. Met a lot of good people, made some great friends, that I still consider family. I'd love to go back at some point, but with the current management, I have chosen not to for now.
When someone that's supposed to be a professional talks down to you and makes you feel like they have some sort of personal issue with you, is never a good thing in customer service.
When they address certain issues with some residents, but others get away with the same things, that's favoritism, anyway you look at it.
When they address issues with people's pets, yet their pet is vicious and they fail to report that their pet got out of their fence and went after another resident and got ahold of their arm, I'd call that a disciplinary offense.
When people report things that need to be fixed, for instance, lights, shower fixtures, etc, that have been broken and people have to take a wrench with them to turn the shower off/on, but it never gets addressed, that becomes frustrating because you're never heard, yet I get reprimanded for taking a toilet tank lid off and setting it on the floor, to bring attention to the fact that it was broken and the only way to flush the toilet was inside the tank? I was told , āthatās what we have maintenance for" and was accused of ātrying to fix itā when I wasn't. It had been broken for well over a month and the person that cleans the bathrooms should've known and reported it, but I kind of understand why it never got reported because the bathrooms were always nasty. You actually have to flush a toilet when you clean it to know it's broken! You can't clean a public facility in 5 minutes, once a day, and expect it to be sanitary for the amount of usage it gets daily. I honestly doubt some of them would pass an inspection.
The pools are always dirty, or donāt work because maintenance doesnāt have the tools to do what needs to be done and half the time the hot tub doesnāt have enough water in it because it clearly has a leak, some of the tiles are falling apart, and thereās mold growing. There are actually people out there that clean/fix pools for a living and specialize in keeping them up to par.
They advertise how good the WiFi is and draw people in, only to find out it doesnāt work more than it does.
I addressed concerns about picking up everyone's dog crap because people weren't cleaning up after their pets. An email that was stated would be sent out, never got sent, therefore, the problem continued.
The day after I moved out, I went in to pay what I was told was my final electric bill and then i get a message on my voicemail from management that I owed more money and sheās going charge my account and if it did't go through, I would be sent to collections?
1st of all, I wasn't even given the chance to take care of it and was threatened to be sent to collections over $40? That's absolutely ridiculous because I know for a fact that there have been residents there behind $100's every month and I left in good standing.
2nd of all, it is against the law for any establishment to charge anything to someoneās account, without their permission, which it was without mine! The rudeness and threats were uncalled for.
I always took it upon myself to pick up trash around the property, move limbs and debris from the trails because of safety concerns, picked up dog crap that my dogs didnāt do, and was always willing to help anyone that was in need because I cared about the way the place looked and about the people I lived around.
I can tell you, the only good staff at this park is John and LaDonna. John works his tail off, basically by himself, and is always willing to help anyone, and genuinely cares about the residents.
Ladonna is always very professional, and honestly is the smartest one in that office.
I could go on, but I'll end it there!
Donāt get me wrong, I loved the area and loved living there for awhile, but it gets old when youāre paying to live in a place that you care about more than the people that should care about it does.
