The new campground hosts for this year are very rude. We camped last weekend (8/20 to 8/22). This is the 2nd time we have camped this summer at Cedron, but it was by far the worst. We live on just on the other side of Whitney and my children are in sports at Whitney High. We never know what activities will come up so we are close enough and my oldest son mows lawns and can work as well as camp. They were very rude about us coming in and out -- we had football activities and my son got a couple calls to mow. Sunday we asked if we could park our camper and continue to boat as our weekend and family time doesn't end at 2:00 check out. We wanted to continue to boat. They said ok. Then my son came back from and early mow job Sunday and they yelled at him because it was after two. We pull the boat trailer with that pickup and I know it was after 2:00 but he also showed the host his yearly day use pass. My son is only 16 and this was terrible. My husband went up to ask what the problem was and what he wanted us to do. Then the host proceeded to yell and swear at my husband. then looked at him asked if he was going to go boating. it was terrible. If the host had said no we would have taken the camper home and come back.

A very relaxing long weekend. The campsite provides space, a great view of the lake, and the quiet that we appreciate. We fished from the bank and our boat and had more luck from the bank. The boat launch was not too busy; although made for two boats it is difficult to use that way and most boaters were single in and out.

One of our favorite places to camp. A good variety of sites. Easy to use hook-ups fir water and electric. This time we chose a full shade site which was perfect for us. Making reservations online was very easy as well.

Nice 50 amp shady site. Wish there were sewer hookups!

Nice site once you get into it. The pad is level, however the driveway is not finished to the road there is a small drainage on both sides of the road that makes getting into the site a bit tricky if your rig is over 30 feet. Honestly it feels like the COE just threw down some gravel under a tree to make this site, unlike all the neighboring sites with paved driveways.
Otherwise lots of shade, large open field behind where kids can play.

We really enjoyed our space and time we spent here. The weather was unpredictable but turned out great! The campsite was really spacious and everything turned out good.
