What Guests Are Saying
Cedron Creek Park is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained environment, spacious and clean sites, and friendly hosts. Many visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, abundant wildlife, and good fishing opportunities at the lake. However, some reviews note issues with overgrown grass, maintenance concerns, and limited winter access, suggesting room for improvement in facilities and upkeep.

with all the rain and the rising of the water it should of closed the park . boat ramp was closed do to high water so if you wanted to fish you had to walk out 40 feet or wade out just to get to the water not to mention they closed any access to the water unless you wanted to walk thru 3ft weeds. bathrooms need better job cleaning i was there 7 days and i left early because was just not worth it we have August 8th booked as well going to cancel that for sure.

We stayed in Site #52. Excellent view of and access to the lake. This site overall is not very level but the parking area is fine. We really like this site. Probably not the best for little children or handicapped persons.

It was very disappointing to see Tents only staying in 50 Amp sites. I have been staying in the same campground for at least the last 15 years. These sites are very difficult to get during Holiday season and to see Tents only camping in 50 Amp sites is very disappointing and should not be allowed when all they are using is 120V plug and the same site changed customers twice in the same weekend with both being tents only. Very bad customer service letting this happen. I quit staying in State Parks 20 years ago because of the same issue.

We stayed for a long weekend with 7 other couples. We had a fantastic time and 24 of our friends came for a picnic on Saturday. The park hosts were friendly and came by often to ensure all was going well and we didn't need anything. We would definitely stay there again.

The only reason I leave two stars is the park host was great, This has been one of the best campgrounds around and has really gone down over the last year and a half do not expect any grass in or around your campsite to be mowed or any toilet paper in the bathrooms. We had a small child about 3ft away from stepping on a copperhead in the camp next to the picnic table grass was so tall you had no clue it was there luckily he has been taught to look out for this stuff when camping. We were informed a little girl was bite last year by one and the park has a issue with them I can see why there is no maintenance done in or around campsites and common grounds, I get camping you are gonna have snakes that’s part of the outdoors but I feel this could be avoided if the place was maintained like it used to be.
