The grounds keepers have historically been fine except for a man named Lee. Seemingly on some sort of power trip. Continually pestered our site for unknown reasons.

We love most of the sites at Cagle. They are well spaced, mostly level and if not deep enough for large rigs, there is additional parking.
New Waverly isn’t far for basic shopping, but Willis will have everything you need.
The bathroom however in the first loop leaves a lot to be desired. We were there 6 days. It was never cleaned, garbage piled up and the toilets were nasty. But toilet paper did get replaced. We heard there was a burn ban but the host said he didn’t feel like putting up the signs.

I’m an avid outdoorswoman and camp often, so I expected some weekend noise. However, I was extremely disappointed that some campers created constant, unnecessary noise by repeatedly opening and closing car doors and locking and unlocking their vehicles until 2 AM. We packed up early Sunday morning and left. Not sure we’ll be back.. at least in a tent!
