Quiet, spacious site. Only issue was toilet paper shortage rapidly corrected by camp host

Great to have sewer connection. Campsites were well laid out. One problem was they allowed people to park where ever and that made it difficult for me and at least one other camper to back a camp trailor in.

Volunteer staff was great. The sites were lovely with sunsets and hiking paths. The bird songs were amazing. Wish I had brought my fishing gear!

This is a fairly decent place to stay. Sites are fairly deep with plenty of space between them. The bathrooms however don’t appear to be cleaned on a regular basis. We stayed for almost a week and the bathrooms didn’t get cleaned until the 4th day we were there. And it was the same in both loops. The hosts do come through and seem to be nice.
The closest town in New Waverly, typical small town. But Huntsville, TX is about 30 minutes and will have everything you need.
