We’ve been staying here for several years and it seems the park has slowly been deteriorating over the past few. The Host sites seem very cluttered with vehicles, lean-to’s, junk and trashy which doesn’t set an example of how visiting campers should maintain their site. We were not approached by anyone when we arrived although our reservation was posted. Hope this helps.

Third time here, we like it because it is close to grandkids in the Woodlands but still in the countryside amongst nature. Love the spacious sites, full hook-ups, tall pines and friendly camp hosts. Nice trails too, great for families with children, as none are steep and you can choose short or long. Sunsets at the pier are now a family tradition.

Site was not even close to level. Both Tmobile and AT&T had very spotty internet service. Pretty area. Lake users were very loud though.

We have spent several week long vacations at this campground and we love it. It is quiet and friendly, as well as having a launch spot for boats or kayaks. There are also quite a few spots to fish from shore. We take our kayaks and enjoy the natural beauty of Lake Conroe surrounded by Sam Houston National Forest. We will continue to return to this area.
