I cant say enough great things about Cagle Rec, Mr. Lee and Ms. Debbie. The grounds were immaculate, so quiet (if you exclude our 3 granddaughters lol) so welcoming. We will always choose Cagle Recreation for our family functions.

Very Nice, wooded campground right on the lake! Beautiful area !!
We were in Site #21 which was good sized .. we had a 28' 5th wheel and F-250 PU that fit fine. All sites have a little space in between, fire ring, picnic table on concrete slab, and Full Hook-ups. Bath/Shower house was Exceptionally CLEAN although an older structure. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful and patrol the CG frequently.

Excellent camp grounds. Hosts were great. Site was tough to level.
Unfortunately came when a group of boy scouts were having an event. They walked over our site and even right next to our camper through out our stay. They were loud early in the morning.
Other than scouts, we had a great time.

Very clean and well monitored. Tent pad, picnic table, fire ring with grill grate. Water & electricity. It was perfect. We took our 5yr. Probably not the best bank fishing spot. But would stay there again!

Fire pit was to deep for cooking. Had to build to big fire to get enough heat up to grill

From Huntsville, Texas, take I-45 to mile marker 103, New Waverly exit, and go to the first stop sign. Do not turn; stay straight on the feeder until you reach the stop sign at FM 1375. Turn right (west) on FM 1375. The Sam Houston District Office is on the right approximately 2.5 miles west of I-45. Cagle Recreation Area is approximately 6 miles west of I-45 and approximately 3 miles west of the District Office on the left hand side of FM 1375.
From Conroe, Texas, take I-45 to mile marker 102, New Waverly exit, and go to the first stop sign. Turn left (west) on FM 1375. The Sam Houston District Office is on the right approximately 2.5 miles west of I-45. Cagle Recreation Area is approximately 6 miles west of I-45 and approximately 3 miles west of the District Office on the left hand side of FM 1375.
Cagle Recreation Area is accessible via I-45, with the New Waverly exit providing access to FM 1375, which leads directly to the campground approximately 6 miles west of the interstate.
