A nice park with spacious spots.. bathrooms were ok but dated. Nice boat ramp and pier. Walking trails were ok.. the only negative was a lot of the picnic tables and fire rings were a distance away from the parking pad, ours was a considerable distance BEHIND the motorhome

I’ve been going to Lake Conroe for over 50 years. In the past 20+ years I have gotten to hate Conroe. Then some friends told us about Cagle. Well I never knew Conroe had a hidden gem. I had to keep reminding myself that I was on Lake Conroe. Cagle is truly a HIDDEN GEM. Love this place and will definitely come back to the lake I’ve loved for so many years. The host were very helpful being it was our first time there. Campsite was very roomy and clean. I truly felt like I was on the Real Lake Conroe with no homes, bulkhead, and people and boats everywhere. Getting the heck beat out of you trying to cross the lake. I do not miss that….
Love You Cagle❤️🎣🚤
