What Guests Are Saying

Lagoon Ranch RV Resort offers well-maintained, concrete sites with new utilities, providing a great environment for both RVers and cabin rentals. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and enjoyable on-site restaurant featuring live music. However, the resort's lively atmosphere, including loud music and activities, may not suit those seeking a quieter getaway.

We spent three RV nights at Lagoon Ranch. I was impressed with the concrete and level sites. The utilities appear to be new...worked perfectly. We had lunch at their restaurant and was pleased with the service and food. We will be back...thank you.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We rented a cabin, spent the wknd playing games and connected with other guests and staff. Cabin was clean and complete with what we needed for our little getaway.

We had an event we needed to attend in Lake Livingston and were suggested to look into the cabins at Lagoon Ranch. So happy we did, its place is a gem. Clean, very well maintained, organized. We were greeted by friendly staff and welcomed. Saturday night we grabbed dinner at the on-site restaurant and bar, were entertained by live music and had a great time. If we are up in this area in the future, we will definitely stay here again.

This location is an absolute hidden gem! It’s so beautifully built and family friendly!
The cabins and sites are cozy camping at the lake elevated. I have enjoyed the various activities, pool areas and the on-site restaurant.

The staff are friendly, inviting and informative and the whole location is very cleanly!

Before I say anything else, let me just say that this resort is actually a nice resort and the staff is amazing. BUT - don't come here expecting to relax. It's a very active resort with music blasting 13 to 14 hours per day. In our site we had the main dance floor with country music at 9am to after 10 each night, with rock from the pool area and the jumbo tron blasting - all at the same time. One night it was Walen Jennings, AC/DC, whatever was on the Jombo tron and a poor singer in the restaurant trying to be heard over all of that. Add to it the individual entertainment of each camper who doesn't want to be forced to listen to what is being forced upon them, and the noise was maddening. We left camp each day to get away from it all, as did several of our neighbors. We discovered the local parks and walks which was lovely, but really, I would have enjoyed some time just relaxing and watching the birds on the lake or having a relaxing time in the pool or hot pool without the blaring tunes. It was impossible to just sit and relax and enjoy. We additionally had roaming dogs, one of which went after our dog who was on a leash with me at our picnic table. Add to that a couple of nights of "ding, dong, ditch," and we were out of there! So, if you're looking for a wild time with great amenities this is definitely your place. Lots of games for the kids, a bar, a lake, pool tables, a jumbo tron to watch the games as you drink at the swim up bar. Lots of room for the kids to ride their bikes and scooters. Unfortunately, not our scene.
